Over done expensive flavorless food. Really... scrambled eggs? My 7 year old makes a better egg. I also felt like I was an unwanted quest. No hello or goodbye...should have stopped at McDonald's

Wow, what a friendly diner. You know you are no longer in CT "Land of The Frozen Chosen". People are friendly, look you in the eye and smile. They also open doors and are very polite. Life is not in a hurry! Feels like home, I'm a Mainer and CT could never feel like home. Upstate NY, here I come. The diners food is good & so is the coffee, it's the people that make me look forward to every visit. I sit down, enjoy my coffee on the porch and read my several news papers. Even the dogs are friendly.

Food was okay, unremarkable but edible. However we dined with a party of 7 and an 18% gratituty was included, which by itself is completely fine, but when I asked the server I was told that it was not included. I did the math on the receipt to find that it had in fact been included already which left me with an uneasy feeling. Not happy.

Best food I ever had and my brother says the same as we sit here for a second day in a row for breakfast. We are visiting MA camping. The food here is made with real tlc.

What a wonderful place! Very "small town feel" with lots of character--fun bumper stickers, posters, and (at the time we went) amazing Halloween decorations everywhere. Beyond that, though, the food was delicious and the owner was superb. I have a family member with a severe gluten allergy (the slightest hint of gluten, and she's in agony for days). Historically we have had a lot of trouble finding small diners that understand gluten allergies and take them seriously, so it was a wonderful surprise for the owner to come out, speak with us directly to assure us that the highest care would be taken with her food, and relate her own story of having food allergies. Fantastic place! We were only passing through the state, but if we ever visit again, we'll return for sure!

Great food and always great service. Our go to spot on northbound motorcycle trips, the scenery on Rt 8 is also gorgeous

Wonderful home-made multigrain bread, good coffee and real maple syrup. Definitely a good local joint. Perfect for transplanted Vermonters.

I got so sick after eating here a mother so ago. The sausage was undercooked and the old lady owner refused to cook it more or take it off the bill. She approached all of the tables and asked us if we lived in town. When we said no, she ignored us the rest of our meal. Sounded like she was talking politics with people who did live in town. We also watched her smoking a cigarette in the kitchen, and the smoke travelled into the dining room. Never again!

Wait staff is a bit slow but Owner walks around and fills up the time with some small talk. The food is always good, and it had a nice small town feel.
